GBS

Seven years ago today I was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome and started treatment.  Praise the LORD, no relapse!

Right on time!

I was grateful today when I remembered that Titus was supposed to be induced on Tuesday, but he managed to come on his own timing 24 hours earlier.  He kind of cut it close!  It was an answer to my prayers since I really didn't want to induce but my doctor insisted that Titus was too big and needed to come out as soon as possible.  He guessed 8 1/2 lbs and the actual birth weight was 8 lb, 15 oz, so he was right about him being a big boy!  My Grandmother later told me that most of my uncles were around 9 lbs.

New Favorite Song

Yesterday the Easter Bunny visited Titus and left a great basket.  He got a toy to encourage tummy time (which he needs...poor thing hates tummy time), a sweet lamb and some swim trunks!  Today while playing on the bed we sang Mary Had a Little Lamb and Titus LOOOOVED it!  He was all smiles all day whenever I would start singing it!  He had a great day today and he spent almost an hour talking with me and smiling at me during our play time

"The days are long, but the years are short."

There was an article in Good Housekeeping about keeping a daily one sentence journal to keep track of those precious memories that are forgotten in the day to day grind.  From the article it seems like one sentence was just a minimum, as the author went on to describe a long memories one day and a short snippet of a conversation on another.  I thought this was a great idea and I will try my best to post at least one sentence from each day.
